Bio
I am a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. I received my PhD from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, my MPH from Simon Fraser University and my BSc at the University of Waterloo in Applied Health Science.
In my research, I use community-engaged mixed methods including social epidemiology and qualitative methodologies. My research interests include mental health and substance use, perinatal health, and health service implementation, outcomes and evaluation. My research is motivated by the urgency to find solutions and advocate for change to mitigate the harmful effects of the ongoing toxic drug poisoning (overdose) crisis in North America, particularly for women who use drugs.
